Re: VT-2019 PPL Teori
Hej Jörgen!
What charts are "must-have" for a PPL student to learn theory, practice flghts and to pass exam i Transportstyrelsen.
What I remember:
Swedish ICAO chart Stockholm (Stockholm airspace VFR-chart 1:500 000) - for theory exam
TMA 1, Skåne / Halland/ Blekinge VFR-chart 1:250 000 - for practical flights
Do I need Skåne 1:500 000 and Stockholm 1:250 000 as well?
btw Pilotshop.se updated the Charts catalogue recently - it seems TMA zones changed a bit..?

Re: VT-2019 PPL Teori
Hello Elias.
Correct: Swedish ICAO chart Stockholm (Stockholm airspace VFR-chart 1:500 000) - for theory exam.
Correct: TMA 1, Skåne / Halland / Blekinge VFR-chart 1:250 000 - for practical flights
You don't need Skåne 1:500 000, the scale being larger it makes it hard to navigate visually. For visual flight I recommend 1:250 000 which is the TMA 1 chart you have listed above.
You only need Stockholm 1:250 000 if you want to fly to Stockholm. You will most likely not need it during your training.
